💳 Refund & Cancellation Policy

At AccountingIN, we are committed to delivering high-quality accounting, tax, payroll, and business advisory services to all our clients. This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds or cancellations may be granted.

1️⃣ Service-Based Nature

Our services are professional and customised according to each client’s business and financial requirements.

 

As such, once a project or service has commenced, it typically cannot be cancelled or refunded, except in the circumstances described below.

2️⃣ Consultation & Advisory Services

For consultations booked through our website or via email/phone:

  • Appointments can be rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice.

  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled time may not be eligible for a refund.

  • Missed appointments (no-shows) are non-refundable.

3️⃣ Accounting, Bookkeeping, Payroll & Tax Services

Due to the time, analysis, and professional input required, these services are billed for the work completed up to the point of cancellation:

  • If a client cancels before any work begins — a full refund (minus admin fees) may be issued.

  • If work has commenced, partial refunds will only apply if substantial work has not yet been completed.

  • Once final reports, accounts, or returns have been submitted or shared, no refunds are possible.

4️⃣ Digital Files & Deliverables

All digital files, reports, spreadsheets, or documents delivered are final and non-returnable, as they contain intellectual work completed by qualified professionals.

5️⃣ Monthly & Subscription Services

 

For ongoing monthly accounting or payroll services:

  • Clients may cancel their subscription by giving 30 days’ written notice via email.

  • Any payments already made for the current billing period will not be refunded, but services will continue until the end of that period.

6️⃣ Overpayments or Duplicate Payments

If a payment has been made in error (e.g., duplicate transaction or overpayment), please contact us at info@accountingin.co.uk within 7 days of the transaction.


After verification, we will process a refund to the original payment method within 10 working days.

7️⃣ Exceptional Circumstances

Refunds may be issued at the company’s discretion in cases such as:

  • Technical or administrative errors on our part;

  • Failure to deliver the agreed scope of service due to internal issues;

  • Mutual agreement to terminate a project early.

  • Full name and business name

  • Service purchased

  • Date of payment

  • Reason for refund request

Each case is reviewed individually to ensure fairness and transparency.

9️⃣ Processing Time

Approved refunds are processed within 10–15 business days via the same payment method used for purchase.

1️⃣0️⃣ Third-Party Payments

If you made a payment via third-party platforms (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, or Wix Payments), their refund policies and timelines may also apply.

⚖️ Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be granted if:


❌ Services have been completed or documents delivered;
❌ The client changes their mind after work has started;
❌ Delays occur due to missing client data or late responses;
❌ The client fails to provide required information or authorisation.
